Naattu koli Fry

  
















  Ingredients:


  Naattu Kozhi - 1/2  kg

  Oil - 5 tbs

  Red chilly powder - 1 tbs                                                          

  Coriander powder - 1 tbs

  Cumin powder - 1/2 tbs

  Pepper powder - 2 tbs

  Turmeric powder - 1/4 tbs

  Onion - 2 nos (chopped)

  Tomato - 1no (mashed) 

  Green chilly - 2 (slitted)

  Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbs

  Curry leaves a handfull 

  Salt to taste

  Coriander leaves - a handfull (chopped)

  Cinnamon – 2nos 

  Clove – 1no 

  Cardamom – 1no

  Method:



   In a pan dry roast cinnamon,clove,cardamom and grind it to fine powder.

   Heat oil in a pan, add red chilly powder, coriander powder,

   cumin powder and    salt to it at medium flame.

   Mix them and add chicken pieces, toss it well,  for about 5 mins.

   Chicken shrinks and absorbs all the spices to it.

   Add 1/2 cup water to it and cook it covered for another 5 mins.

   Allow the chicken to get half cooked.

   Heat oil in a   pan, temper with garam masala powder,

   fry onion till it is browned.

   Add green chillies, ginger garlic paste followed by mashed tomato.

   saute  it and allow to boil by adding turmeric powder, pepper powder.

   Now add the chicken with masala, 

   mix well and cook it and covered with a   lid.

   Once the required consistency acquired, remove from flame. 

   Garnish with fried onion and sliced tomatoes

   chopped curry and coriander leaves.
