Cabbage Soup



Cabbage soup is low in fat and cholesterol, 

but has high sodium content means 

regular intake can manage your weight.     

A home remedy using cabbage for joint pain includes 

rubbing the joint first with honey, 

then tying a cabbage leaf around the joint.

Place a warm cloth over the cabbage leaf and 

leave overnight for joint pain relief.

Ingredients :

Cabbage - 1 cup (shruded)

Ginger - a small piece

Garlic - 5 pods

Jeera - 1 tbs

Pepper corn - 1 tsp

Curry leaves - a handfull

Coriander leaves - a handfull

Turmeric powder - 1 tsp 

Salt to taste

Method :

Grind  ginger , garlic , jeera , pepper  and curry leaves  nice. 

In a pan put shreded cabbage , salt , turmeric, ground paste and 

3 cups of water to boil at a medium heat.

The water in the soup shrink 1 cup put off the flame and 

filter from the cabbage mixture.  

Garnish with coriander leaves. 

Serve in soup bowl.
