Methi Seed (sprouted) Kulambu


    

Ingredients:

                                                                                                      
Sprouted methi seeds -1/2 cup

Onion - 20 nos (peeled and chopped)

Tomato -1 no (
chopped) 

Tamarind extract - 1cup


Garlic - 10 pods (peeled)

Red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp

Pepper powder - 1/4 tsp

Coriander powder -1 tsp

Curry leaves a few

Coconut paste -1/4 cup

Salt to taste
 

Gingelly oil - 1/4 cup
 

Mustard seeds + urad dal - 1/2 tsp  



Method:



Heat the gingelly oil and add   mustard seeds and urad dal, let them splutters, 

add the onion pieces,  chopped tomatoes,  garlic pods and  curry leaves

saute everything until the onions turns pink in  colour. 

Now add the sprouted methi seeds and cook.  

In a mixie jar put the red chilly powder, pepper powder, coriander powder, coconut paste, 

salt and the tamarind juice , give a stir and add it to the cooking items.

Cook this gravy in medium  flame and close it 
 with a lid
  
When  the oil get separates from the gravy switch off . 

Serve with hot rice...
