Red chilly chutney

 



Ingredients :


Red chillies - 20 nos (Dry) 

Garlic - 6 pods

Small onion - 4 nos

Gingelly oil - 1 cup

mustard seeds - 1 tsp

Asafoetida - a pinch

Curry leaves - a handfull 

Salt to taste



 Method:


Grind red chillies , onion , garlic pods and  salt coarsely. 

In a pan at medium flame put oil add mustard and asafoetida and 

curry leaves and add the ground paste

Saute well  till the oil in the  chutney seperates 

and it comes  hot red in colour. 

Hot , Delicious chutney is ready to  serve. 

You may use it for idli, dosai , bread , adai , pongal , upma and curd rice etc... etc...
